Basics of Safeguarding Children

Abdiqani Halbeeg, an AbdiqaniGroup brand. English and Somali in one file.

For parents and for anyone working in daycare. What safeguarding means and what it is not, the kinds of harm, the signs, and what to do when a child tells you something.

Built entirely on the Dutch system: Veilig Thuis, the meldcode, the gemeente jeugdteam and the huisarts, explained in plain words. It answers the fear directly — what Veilig Thuis actually does, and that you can phone for advice without naming anyone.

30 slides. English first, Somali after it. Educational only, and not a meldcode training.
